I have to begin by saying that all three of you ladies are absolutely beautiful, inside and out

I really enjoyed the 20/20 episode and also the magazine article a couple girlfriends and I read about you about a month ago.

Back in 2003, my family's house burnt down on Christmas Day. While I did not suffer any physical injuries, my emotional injuries are still present today. Although they are quite different, your strength to pull through your hardships are truly inspiring.

Best of luck to you with your Three For Hope Foundation - I plan on passing the website on to family and friends, it is great!!

E-mail: Contact 		i think you three are a blessing and give hope to people that have survived drastic burns. I have recieved burns to my right hand and left foot in separate accidents and went to school with a man that recieved major burns from a camp fire as a child. You all are amazingly beautiful and are an insperation for everyone burned or not to believe in yourself and see the beauty within.

I came across your story in a magazine just by chance, and also the 20/20 segment the same way. It must have been meant to be. I am 42 and was burned when I was 7 years old - I had a pot of coffee spilled on me by a waitress in a restaurant. I had some surgeries when I was younger, but I am still left with some scars, mainly the surgery scars on my left shoulder, left side of my chest, and a bit on my right thigh. I have had a hard time with it, avoided getting close in my relationships, and as one other blogger wrote, dreaded summer because I won't wear bathing suits and tank tops. I thought it would get easier as I got older but the opposite happened. As i got older, I got more self-conscious. I too am one of the only people I know who enjoys the other seasons (spring, fall and winter) much more than summer. Your story inspired me to finally try to see if I can get further help with the looks of my scars and deal with the emotional issues I have tried to just suppress. Thank you for being so brave and telling your story. )

I wish you guys could come to our burn unit and speak to some of our burn patients and survivors. You would truely help lift spirit. Because I know you have true lifted mine.
